Another Revival Post

Gahh...its seems that i need to fix my schedules for this - _ -a

Well...for starters, I've been working in Imoutou Maid Cafe & Gundam Workshop this past going to-3-months...well of course my position is at the Workshop and not at the Cafe...

I've received my Hot Toys Superman, Jack Sparrow DX 06, and Predator Classic from Predators which sadly I havent been able to take pictures of them...well perhaps because i'm planning to re-selling the Superman and Predator...

Another side...i havent been able to nab anymore of Fukumura Mizuki merchandise...which i desperately want T____T

Last Month, There's an event at a nearby mall which we participate...and it got loads of attention..hopefully i'll be able to post all of it within the next few days :)

P.S : My GF did a great job on her custom paint model kit :3

Sen Yuurei no Matsuri 2011 ~Day Two~

Here we go again, Day Two Sen Yuurei no Matsuri 2011 !

Sorry for a late post, but its a hectic trying to choose pictures that i'm going to put in the post @_@

I came early in morning again this time, yet i somehow missed the opening band and its already gather lots of crowd while the MC already giving some speech or sort of advertisement about the event.

And we goes to the first show, which is cosplay cabaret...have no idea what are they playing...but they seems like touhou sort of play...kinda simple but there's lots of action..fighting, dancing, singing, drama~

Then followed with OPJ (Opera Pan Japan) which is a cosplay drama theaterical or something like that....their cosplay mostly are from tokusatsu series as you can see from the picture below and i must say, they are quite entertaining as they actually have a storyline and gags

i love those shocker soldiers !!!!!!

Later on, another band performance by Kyuubi. Look who's there that i'm familiar with ?! At first i thought "hmmm no way" then she said her name..its Tika from On Project ! or i should say an ex-member of On Project!

I wonder why she left the group, but in the band...i dont think she would shine as fast as she would in the dance group, but oh well..good luck :)

After that i take a break and scout around for cosplayers, I must say that there are lots of them but sadly i wish there were more ghost related cosplay since this is Sen Yuurei no Matsuri...but i dont complain much since there are more great cosplay than the previous events.

First, we have the maid ! A cute looking maid that is......she'll snatch your soul while pouting in nyan pose~

Then there's this..duo swordman(?), bishounen dakara~ great-awesome cosplay tho..they really put a lengthy effort for their costume, make up, wig, and props.

And here is my fav cosplayer ! a random female ninja from leaf village; Why she become my favorite ? well..she's cute..tho i dont think ninja use sneakers.......lol but the main thing is..she still do pose even when her ankle hurts..she even having a hard time walking but she pulled out a smile for the camera *hiks*

Then we have luka ! tho i initially thought she's cosplaying louise...should've know it from the group of vocaloids running around....she post a comment on my facebook album confirming it..which surprise me, a pleasant surprise it is :3

Then while i was still walking around, i found rinoa giggling, and i get the shot...she looks pretteh XD

And below, our beautiful cosplayer competition judge ! She's cosplaying Tear from Tales of Abyss, she's pretty cold judge but impressive nonetheless.

Gedou Shinkenreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed ! great outfit and great props...with great attitude...what doesnt it have ? sugoi !

One of the awesome obake cosplay, they come in a group...or duo...cant remember clearly. The make up, outfit and props they use are in another level from other cosplayers.

One of the player from OPJ, his outfit is pretty well made..and he jump off the stage which is pretty high and still land graciously !

Dont slash me !!! EEEEeeeeeeeekkk !!!!

No idea, but the awesomeness aura reeks out as you can see from the pic...the detail of the mask is incredible.

White knight something....pretty alright, detailed..and the spear is can be split into two !

Epic cosplay of a zombie, same like the above..i have no idea if they are in the same group but the make up of this cosplayer is impressive, she/he even put the music for her advantage; Definitely the top 5 cosplayers if i'm the judge.

Dead Master cosplay !!!! Eventhough she doesnt have the looks for DM, but she gets her dress, scythe, horns and shoes as she should...so its a great cosplay, wish she put more effort on her expression tho....

Taiko Drummerrrrrrrrrrs !! I was right in the front line looking at them and record them in my cellphone (tho sadly i wont be uploading it for now coz its take ages to upload it, unless someone can tell me how to reduce the size without butchering the video quality as the sound quality is already as bad as it is).

They perform consecutively for about 20 minutes non stop playing in different pose, dancing while beating the drums...impressive !

Then another band, Jakarta Keion Club which consist of four Japanese and one Indonesian; From what i heard, they dont take salary for their performance O_O

The female vocalist is funny ! She quickly break the ice with the audience with her joke in Indonesian...then when the guitarist sang Seiya Phantasy, the crowd goes wild...even i catch the heat, shouting along the song...its the greatest moment of my life; I want to hear them more !

After that all, we continue again to second part of cosplay competition, Ah do note that not all cosplayers performing are in this post..some are unable to post coz blurriness of the shot :(

There are a lot of Tokusatsu cosplayers tho @_@ Here we have...ermm agito ? i like his belt..its shinning.....lol

This is another obake cosplay that i like, titled "Angel of Death". Pretty gore cosplay because he brought a head chained on a steel chain and he "eat" the head....talk about brutal...hahahaha

An impressive white knight cosplay...i really like the design of the char and the sheild, its looks perfect !

And the final day of the event, i stayed long enough to listen one of the song sang by the band "Samurai Blue" which have a group of fans gathering in front of the stage.

And thats it, i got too tired and went home...am sorry that i'm unable to cover the Obake Theater and Shuriken from day one along with Amakusa, Bon Odori, and the Hanabi from the day two..hontouni gomenasai :(

But lack of spaces to sit around really cramp my legs...and i read that some customers of obake yashiki complained about line cutting and the long wait period...guess its way above their prediction...

Sen Yuurei no Matsuri 2011 ~Day One~

So, i'm back ! lol....sorry for those who're waiting (like there's any - _ -)

I've been attending the latest japanese event hold by Nippon Club from Binus University; Its Sen Yuurei no Matsuri which literally means Festival of 1000 Ghost, tho sadly i'm unable to hold out til the end of the event since i've been there from morning...

At first day, we had lots of band, quizzes, karaoke competition, eating dorayaki competition, a katana-showdown, and more bands.

So as soon as i arrived there, i'm greeted with a band "Tomodachi" (if i'm not mistaken) which is pretty good for an opening band :)

There arent many people at that time even though its Saturday, guess its still too early somehow...

Followed by another band "Ohayou" that dressed in their PJs, coz you know...its ohayooooou...lol

They are quite great, the vocalist is small but her voice is loud.

Next ! Samurai Showdown !!! well not really...its an introducing on how to sheath and release the katana from the saya (kanata..err holder ?) and also demonstration on how sharp it is by cutting down tatami into several pieces..its quite a treat seeing that live.

Then after that, there's a competition for anime dubbing, some of them are pretty good and the judges are pretty solid.

Above is the pic for the entire participant for the dubbing competition, which i dont know who won it since i went home before the announcement...but i'm pretty confident its the third girl from the left (the left side of the girl with white hair and green cape)

Above is the whole pic again along with the judges, those two males with blue shirt, the long hair dub as Suneo from Doraemon and the short hair dub as Kogoro Mouri from Detective Conan along with the women between them dub Naruto in Naruto and Luffy in One Piece.

And followed by another band, Honey Beat ! I forgot what songs that they sing..sadly when i went to buy their cd, their staff already pack their stuffs away...i mean the Honey Beats staff, not the event staff...was lookin forward listening it, but i guess its a no-go for now...

Their performance is rock solid

After that, there's another show...tho i wonder if this gonna be covered by any TV station coz there isnt any TV crew around as i can see...

"Wish Come True"

An event held by Nuu Green Tea, giving free stuffs as their campaign...but somehow i kinda doubt it since i rarely hear about it and the first winner who gets a scooter says something sort of advertisement.

But anyway, a well known actress Titi Kamal is one of the host/guest speaker..she looks different than usual but meh~; Then they held a contest "Who can drink the most"

The winner is the guy on the right for drinking 5 bottles

A participant vomit for over drinking, and she only drank 1-2 bottles.

Then there's a karaoke competition, which all of it consist of Japanese songs; There ar

e a few solid ones, and there're alot more that need practice..but they got balls for it, so applaud to them.

This time, i record them !!! But let me warn you...do not open it in high volume....since i record them using my cellphone...which is quite bad......since the sound sometimes went zerk...and pardon me for shaky images since i held them with my hand only :(

mehh it seems that it took a loooooooong time to upload video...so this is the only one for now, unless for some reason someone asking for a spesific video, then i might upload it later on.

As for the final event in day one (for me), its an instrumental band "Momiji". They are quite great, but its just not my type of song genre they're playing with.....

While we're waiting for the karaoke video to uploaded, lets talk about the stands in the event; First we have the usual dorayaki stand, takoyaki stand, okonomiyaki stand, ice cream stand, obake yashiki stand a.k.a. ghost house~ sadly i'm unable to experience it since i'm busy covering the on-going events...

There's also a small comiket, which consist of few artist..like around 4-5 stands...pretty sad but its great in a way that i never seen them anywhere else before ! bought 2 doujins...which kinda interest me.

There's a corner for draw your face into a manga ! which i was going to take, but kinda held back at that moment for obviously the line is pretty long....but i'll get it in another day.

And then...hummm...ahh ! there's a manga paper for sale..which i have no idea what are they trying to do beside selling the manga paper...and there are lots of people drawing in their booth, and i mean not their staffs..everyone ! and some of them have pretty good drawings.

Also i spot a figure stand that sell bootlegged figures..........its like WTF, coz seriously that stand alone leave a little dent to event credibility..at least for me.

And last but not least, there's that catch a fish using a small round shape of paper thingy...well you know...that........catch a fish game.

Photo Modelling

Few days ago, my friend which have just recently finished up her make up school ask me to take shoot for her make up model try outs !

I start the day at 8 am, since we hang around a while for breakfast then she start make up-ing the models at around 11 am..there's also another photographer tag along which much better than me in experience and skills since he went to photographer class and done it.

The make up session it self drag on till around 4 pm...i was sooooo boreeeeed waiting for them to finished up..but girls will be girls........


The only and main problem is...there wasn't any sufficient lightning source in the set.....so we went as good as it get....

Figma & Japan Animation Festival

The newly acquired Figma !

Black Rock Shooter

Its really looks great and the body proportion are quite remarkable; but on closer inspection there are some flaws with the figure..i've spotted some mispaint, excess pvc, hard to bend jacket pegs, kinda miscolor hair joints...but overall she looks great.


She do really like just came out from the animation, i watched it before i received this figure on the internet anime web...kinda odd, but i like the anime...hmmm atmosphere ? aura ? i dunno how to call it, but you know its gonna be a great anime someday (not as great as legendary but great as great)

I havent play with her yet, since i'm kinda busy here and there...so yeah, yesterday i went watching 5cm per seconds with my BRS seller in the movie theater for japan foundation something event...



It is the greatest animation movie i ever watched in this year...using different kind of story telling, not so deep character description..tho at the part III i'm kinda confused but the end was awesome.

Oh and there's also Doraemon on the spot !!!! i thought it was a midget cosplaying but as time went, i'm convinced that its actually a robot...lol *excuse my lame giggling*

So here is my what if drossel acquired BRS cannon....chaos...or as my gf said "palmface.jpg"

Bali (Updated with pics)

A new adventure to the lost island which everyone knows more than the country itself....lol

Went vacation to bali just few days ago...it was awesome (in a way), cause i did few things i never imagined i would ever do.

first, i was using a friend ID as mine cause my friend cancel his trip for some bizarre reason and his ticket cant be taken over to someone else..so i had to change the pic on his ID to mine....it works fine (sadly...cause it means that the security in the airport are at the minimum bar)

went there with a group of 10, including myself; where most of us are highschool buddies....tho i have no idea how we become close, since i'm actully kinda introvert but kinda noticeable kid back then (noticeable by because i'm a weirdo with good grades and blacklisted student as well.....how's that for a record ? lol)

i thought bali was hot ! but i'm not complaining~ i hate heat.

went there staying at Tune hotel, Legian...quite close to Seminyak beach (5 mins walk), our trip takes up 4 days and 3 nights....and i already forgot what we did for the 1st day......seriously....

The hotel, cheap ? yes.

i only remember that we went to see Kecak Dance, you wouldnt believe how many japanese were there....i was surrounded by them...literally.

this is when the great white monkey a.k.a. Hanoman, captured and was about to be burned to death by the devils but he wouldn't be called the great if he couldn't escape this.

i ate a lot since a friend of mine is a food lover, so yeah...we eat a lot.....and i mean a lot.

then there's a day where i do nothing since they went to Quicksilver (a sea tour), i didnt join them coz

1. i have seasick
2. i hate depth
3. i cant swim

so, i sleep more than i should......woke up at noon-ish, and went to the beach..walking around, looking at the dogs running along the beach, looking for a shell, ect til i got bored and call up my driver to drive me to the dock waiting for my friends arrived.

Then the next day, for some reason......i'm joining outbound ! i have no idea what we were gonna do.....i thought its like a camping trip, nature walk, or something......but no, its a treetops activity.

i hate height as much as i hate depth.....but i kinda beat it til the point my arms are unable to support myself..and i have to quite halfway...i was so close to the finish line...but what can i do..perhaps next time i'll beat it.

i love this shot ! The sun are just about to set behind her and i shot her along the way she was walking across and she pose just at the right moment.

small waves, big waves, as long its surfable..there will be surfers.
